Privacy Policy

Effective 6 Oct 2026Version 1.0Applies to aikia.world

This policy explains what personal data aikia.wrld collects through our website and our work, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and we apply the same standards to visitors and clients in Canada, the USA, Australia and New Zealand.

The short version

  • We only collect what you give us when you contact us, apply to join, or work with us.
  • We never sell your data and we do not run advertising trackers on this website.
  • Data from client projects stays the client's. We process it only on their instructions.
  • You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to connect@aikia.world.

01Who we are

aikia.wrld (also written aikia.world) is a growth agency offering PR, branding, content, advertising, AI, automation and website services. In this policy, "aikia.wrld", "we", "us" and "our" mean the business operating as aikia.wrld, based in Gujarat, India.

For personal data we collect for our own purposes, we are the Data Fiduciary (data controller). For personal data we handle inside a client's project, the client is the Data Fiduciary and we act as their Data Processor (see section 04).

We do not ask for sensitive data such as health, financial account passwords, or government ID numbers through the website. Please do not send them to us unless a signed agreement requires it.

03Why we use it

We use personal data only for the purpose it was given for, on the basis of your consent or a legitimate use permitted by law:

  • To reply to you. Answering enquiries, booking discovery calls and preparing quotes.
  • To deliver our services. Running the work set out in a signed proposal or agreement, and keeping you updated.
  • To bill and keep records. Issuing invoices, collecting payment and meeting tax and GST record-keeping duties.
  • To consider applications. Reviewing people who apply to work or collaborate with us.
  • To keep the website working and secure. Diagnosing faults and preventing abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations. Responding to lawful requests from authorities.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and every such message will tell you how to stop them.

04Personal data inside client projects

Some of our services involve our clients' own customers and leads, for example CRM setup, WhatsApp follow-up, ad audiences, loyalty and digital wallet passes. In that work:

  • The client decides what data is collected and why, and is responsible for having a valid legal basis and notice for it.
  • We process that data only on the client's documented instructions and only to deliver the agreed service.
  • We keep it confidential, restrict access to the people working on that project, and return or delete it when the engagement ends, unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • Ad accounts, CRMs and customer lists stay in the client's name and ownership.

If you are a customer of one of our clients and want to exercise your rights, please contact that business directly. We will help them respond.

05AI voice and chat agents

When we build an AI voice or WhatsApp agent for a client, the agent always introduces itself as an AI assistant and never pretends to be a person. Conversations it handles belong to the client and are covered by section 04. Where call recording or transcripts are used, the client is responsible for telling callers, and we configure the agent to do so at the start of the conversation.

06Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under terms that require them to protect it:

  • Website hosting and delivery (Vercel).
  • Web fonts (Google Fonts), which receives your IP address when the page loads fonts.
  • Application forms (Google Forms) for job and collaboration applications.
  • Email, calendar, messaging and file storage tools we use to communicate and work with you.
  • The form-handling service that delivers website enquiries to our inbox.
  • Accounting, payment and invoicing providers.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.

07Where data is stored and transfers abroad

Some of the providers above store data on servers outside India, including in the United States. We only transfer data to countries not restricted by the Government of India under the DPDP Act, and we choose providers that apply recognised security standards. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
